Here you can read a selection of articles and reviews regarding Petit Tapas.

When you step into this charming tapas restaurant in the Gothic Quarter, you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d walked into a wine cellar, with its barebrick walls, wooden beams and shelves heaving under the weight of Spanish wine references – amongst which you’ll find vintages from the nearby Penedes and Priorat regions, as well as several organic wines.

Petit Tapas, as the name suggests, specialises in tapas and ‘platillos’ (small plates) for sharing, and you’ll find a fun mix of classic (stewed meat croquettes), vegetarian (grilled cauliflower with Romesco sauce), ecological (kilometre zero Catalan cheeses) and fusion tapas (Thai style Monkfish souffle with coconut curry sauce) on the menu.

Beautiful decor and design at Petit Tapas Barcelona

The food and atmosphere is outstanding. We are gluttons, so we immediately ordered basically everything on the menu (see photos for more). It’s all incredible. And honest to god this is the best espresso martini I’ve had in the world (and I have had A LOT). Best dish? The ceviche. So so amazing. Gazpacho. Patatas Bravas. Aubergine. Stand out dishes that I absolutely loved – but honestly lean in and order the whole lot.

Food incredible ?? Went there 5 together ordered the ham platter, potato’s, the pepper, the meat and vegan chordates and the pasta ravioli. Good wine & staff friendly. The waiting for the food was about 10 minutes. Highly recommended for dinner in Barcelona ✨

Was recommended the Sensi chain of restaurants by a friend and they have all been great (excellent food and an intimate atmosphere) but ‘Le Petit Tapas’ is my favourite by far… Amazing food with a creative menu and the service and attention we received from the staff was incredible. They made us feel very special and were solely focused on us enjoying the whole experience, so I will definitely be returning ASAP!
